Boma Ye 3 slices of manic, extremely fun, electro/house finished off with a gorgeous downtempo techno track from Gesloten Cirkel. Only downside is how earwormy that "Work your body" hook really is..... Favorite track: GESLOTEN CIRKEL - Asleep.

communiqations Seeing 'V2' makes me think about V1 and the thing this record really needed was some raw electronics by I-F...but times change...

Panama Brown is the track for me, followed by the Closed Circle, which has become a usual suspect on the Hotmix labels. Favorite track: PANAMA BROWN - Theme From Panama Racing Club.

Nic Brown Talk about an embarrassment of riches (and I could talk about it ad nauseum). The second volume of Viewlexx's "Test Pilot" series (which arrives a mere 20 years after volume one) is absolutely awash with Italo-house-cum-electro-pop fabulousness. Every track is a highlight but if I had to pick one to take to bed, it would be "Asleep", a shimmery little number that shows Gesloten Cirkel have mellower tunes up their sleeve to counterbalance the ram-raiding techno of their 2014 monster "Submit X". Favorite track: GESLOTEN CIRKEL - Asleep.
